As fellow nail polish addicts, we tend to put our nails through some damage by weekly (or daily!) polish changes. It’s said that letting your nails “breathe” is the number 1 rule on healthy nails, but we can’t be bothered with bare nails for 1-2 weeks at a time. Here’s a way to keep your nails looking fresh and super healthy, so listen up!
DO NOT USE ACETONE! Acetone is extremely harsh and drying to your nails, and using an acetone based remover will strip your nails of all the nutrients and oils it naturally produces. Instead, go for a milder polish remover, though it may take longer to remove, your nails will be so much happier! Leave the acetone to the mani pros next time your at the salon.
